Essential to feed applications such as Market Abuse, Prices Database and any other system that need to have information coming from the markets.

It is the recommended solution for receiving financial information from several sources, and its normalization, integration, consolidation and distribution over LAN, WAN or Internet to feed Front Office and Back Office systems with both static and real time market data. The system offers a wide range of production tested interfaces for receiving data from several Information Service Providers or exchanges and to feed third party systems.

The managed information items include:

  • static instrument data;
  • static data of issuers;
  • price information;
  • order books;
  • currency rates;
  • interest rates;
  • closing prices;
  • intraday graphs;
  • news;
  • studies and documentation (images, pdf files);
  • service information (market phase changes/suspensions/trading hours);
  • “End of Day” data;
  • corporate actions.

EliStream can receive data among others from the following Information Service Providers:

  • Bloomberg (from B-Pipe, DAPI, SAPI, Price Server);
  • Sungard (from the Market Data Servers);
  • Reuters RTD (ex Triarch);
  • IS Teledata;

  • BIT Systems (MDF).

EliStream can archive market data for analysis and statistics based on historical trades, order books and prices.

EliStream can connect to third party systems via API, and proprietary interfaces of several third party systems. Third party applications can connect to EliStream via API C, C++ or Java. The connected systems can subscribe to the information feed and receive the data in push or pull technology.

EliStream can feed any application (e.g. Trading Online, Position Keeping, Market Abuse, Back Office) that needs normalized data when dealing with different providers, each with its own protocol, whether these are stock exchanges or providers of price information, or news.
